Improving Bladder Control for Women Over 40

Dear Women Over 40,

One issue that women typically avoid speaking to their healthcare provider about is incontinence—and the condition is surprisingly common; an estimated 20 million women in America have some loss of bladder control. Unfortunately, these women wait an average of 6.5 years before discussing their bladder issues with a healthcare provider—a testament to the stigma and embarrassment associated with the condition.

While common, many women think incontinence is a part of normal aging or something to live with because of having children, but that's simply not true. For many women, it's an easily treatable condition! There is a new trial currently enrolling women who are experiencing any loss of bladder control. The DUETS research trial is for women to try to regain control of their bladders and lives, without medication or surgery.

Women can learn more by visiting: duetstrial or by contacting the study center at 1 (888) DUETS 08.
